Every one of our Flash Jewellery designs is created in-house with craftsmanship, classic & essential qualities in mind. We value longevity in our jewellery and we accept that it is our responsibility as a small business to incorporate sustainable, responsible practices into our processes.
Our policy is to repair, restore, and then replace.
Our jewellery has a 12-month warranty from the date purchased that covers manufacturing defects and faults. This warranty does not cover general wear and tear, modifications or engraving & damages to your jewellery. ie - improper care or failure to follow our care instructions provided.
We strongly recommend that our gold plated items are not engraved as this process will damage the layers of plating.
Please note manufacturing defects and faults do not include:
General wear and tear resulting in (but not limited to); rings that have become misshaped, surface scratches, broken chains, plating that has worn off, chipped gemstones, loss of charms and improper storage.

The Flash Buy-Back Scheme
The Flash Buy-Back Scheme will allow us to close the loop, recycling/upcycling your unwanted jewellery, giving these metals a second life and ensuring nothing is disregarded or ends up in landfill.We are now accepting your unwanted jewellery from any brand, not just Flash Jewellery. Return your unwanted jewellery to us and we will ‘buy it back’, issuing you with a 15% off credit which can be used online at Flash Jewellery (excludes sale items).
We are extending this initiative to silver & brass/gold plated pieces (with the plans to open this scheme up to accepting all metals very soon).
Any pieces we receive back under our ‘buy-back’ scheme, will be sent back to our manufacturer to be melted down, purified and recycled, ready for a second life and recreated into objects, art or jewellery.

Replating Service Coming Soon
We’re happy to announce we’ll be implementing a replating service for our Vermeil pieces very soon, this service will allow your most loved flash pieces to be re-dipped in gold to restore their shine and finish.
Repairs & Spare Parts
Looking for just one earring, lost a charm, or have a clasp that needs to be replaced? Email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We believe there is a use for everything - we save all spares, components and parts (some could say Nina has a collecting problem) these are all re-made into new pieces inhouse, or kept for repairs.
Items with slight defects are not wasted, these are sold via our yearly sample sale ~ Nothing is disregarded. Faulty or broken items we’re unable to repair are all sent back to our manufacturer, these are then melted down, purified and recycled, giving them a second life.
We’re not perfect but we are continuously working towards more sustainable processes and being better - progress, not perfection.
